Angel Henderson McDonald

Angel has served in the office since October 2002. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology with Honors in May 2006 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is planning to pursue her Masters Degree in Family Counseling. Angel is the proud mother of two children, Jordon and Jarred. She is a busy mom with active children involved in scouts, sports, and church activities.

Angel acts as the assistant to our Executive Director, Robert Zornes. Her duties include assisting with grant writing, keeping administrative records, payroll, recording donations, sending receipts to donors, and numerous other duties. As program director she initiates and supervises the implementation of grants programs and our residential services. She supervises all direct-care staff and houseparents.

Angel has been a tremendous blessing to Mother's Refuge since joining our staff. Her efficiency helps our program and office run smoothly. Angel has worked with countless donors and volunteers during the past five years. They enjoy her outgoing personality and find working with her extremely pleasant.
