It Pays to Give
Donations to Mother's Refuge pay off in the changed lives of vulnerable young mothers and their babies. They also pay you back in practical ways at tax time.
Mother's Refuge, a state-licensed maternity home, has been a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization since 1987. All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt for all donations for tax purposes. For information on Missouri tax credits
Remember, Mother's Refuge is not affiliated with any large organization that underwrites our operation. We depend solely on the generosity of our many friends, businesses and corporations that have graciously supported us. We thank you in advance for your contribution to help provide a positive environment for homeless pregnant and parenting teens.
Of course, donations of practical items or services for the house or residents are always welcome. We have received washers, dryers, ranges, microwaves, kitchen cabinets, flooring, carpentry skills, plumber services, electrical work and much more in the past. If you have items or services we might be able to use, please call us.
We always welcome donations of food, diapers and gently used baby and maternity clothing. See our "wish list" for more ideas. Please call ahead
if you have an item, and we will tell you if we can use it. We wish to be good stewards of our time and resources, so we do not accept items that cannot be
put to proper use. Thank you.
