It Pays to GiveYou can help us continue our program after the devestating fire on October 8, 2012 that gutted our bedroom portion of our home by volunteering or donating items. Please e-mail email@example.com
Donations to Mother's Refuge pay off in the changed lives of vulnerable young mothers and their babies. They also pay you back in practical ways at tax time.
Mother's Refuge, a state-licensed maternity home, has been a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization since 1987. All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt for all donations for tax purposes. For information on Missouri tax credits
Remember, Mother's Refuge is not affiliated with any large organization that underwrites our operation. We depend solely on the generosity of our many friends, businesses and corporations that graciously support us. We thank you in advance for your contribution to help provide a positive environment for homeless pregnant and parenting teens and young moms.
Donations of practical items or services are always welcome. If you have items or services we might be able to use, please call us. Often times we are looking for furnature, kitchen items, bed, etc. for our girls once they move into their own apartments. When you call us, we'd be happy to see if one of our moms could put it to good use. Please don't be offended if someone can't. Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of storage space to keep a lot of large items nor do we have a truck to pick them up.
We always welcome donations of food, diapers, especially sizes 4, 5 & 6, personal care items, toilet paper and paper towels. See our "wish list" for more ideas. Please call ahead
if you have an item, and we will tell you if we can use it. We wish to be good stewards of our time and resources, so we do not accept items that cannot be
put to proper use. Thank you.

Our home for pregnant teens and their babies has moved to a temporary location due to the fire. Please call for drop off locations of material donations.
Please mail all monetary donations to our office location. If delivering material donations it is best to call ahead for directions on where to deliver the donations. With a house full of pregnant young mom's and babies we are often going to doctors appointments, picking up girls from school or running errands. The shelter's phone number is 816-356-4797.
